Otto Group cannot completely sidestep the negative trend overshadowing the e-commerce market, but still improves operating profitability
Given the ongoing, adverse economic environment, the Otto Group's global e-commerce revenues in the current 2023/24 financial year (29 February 2024) fell by around 9 percent to just under 10.8 billion euros, according to initial forecasts and on a comparable basis*. However, operating profitability is expected to improve in line with strategic planning. The retail and services group will continue to invest in logistics, IT and in customer-centric solutions in the field of artificial intelligence.
