What we do

The main task of Group Security is to protect the workforce and safeguard business activities. To do this, we provide the Executive Board and the companies in the Otto Group with advice on all security-related issues, such as information security and industrial safety. We also carry out investigations in the case of compliance violations and develop programs to prevent fraud and corruption.

What we do

We are the Otto Group’s professional service provider. We provide support to Group companies in all matters relating to the following topic areas: transformation & organization, digital & operational efficiency, customer experience & marketing, data & backend, and the sharing of best practices.

To do this, we create and operate a wide range of products, including demand forecasting, chatbots, white label apps, AR apps, or the deployment of data solutions. We also have a large in-house team of advisors available to deal with the topic areas and support the Group or Group companies with major projects—no matter if they need help with launching an e-commerce platform on otto.com or evaluating new logistics options at Hermes. In addition to this, we promote the transfer of knowledge across the Group, for example, by holding conferences for the departments or managing directors in the various Group companies.
