What we do:
We are the Otto Group’s internal management consultancy. As such, we develop solutions for the entire Group and are a driving force behind the digital transformation of business models. We deal with a wide range of topics from growth strategies to strategic reorientation and process optimisation. On top of this, we play a major role in the recruitment, training and development of managers.

What we do:

Corporate Responsibility

What we do:
Environmental protection, social responsibility and corporate citizenship are the core of our corporate culture.
We develop strategies for sustainable business management and define together with the Group companies specific measures with the aim both to protect the environment and to safeguard socially acceptable working conditions along the entire supply chain.

What we do:
In Group Finance, everything revolves around the topic of money and liquidity: Procuring liquidity from banks and on the capital market, executing payments, trading derivatives transactions, structuring payment services. Corporate HR

What we do:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 We take a closer look at social trends and develop new instruments in personnel management. Together with the Group companies, we are the initiator and shaper of strategic HR transformation in topics such as organizational development or lifelong learning. Our experts shape the principles of HR policy and advise the Otto Group companies on current labour law issues. We identify, develop and network executives and experts within the Group and create programmes to facilitate and promote diversity and talent management.

Help shape this change and use powerful HR systems in the area of talent and learning management, as well as innovative controlling instruments to meet current HR challenges.

Corporate Strategy & Development

What we do:
We develop market and future scenarios in the Otto Group's strategic business segments as well as an overarching Group strategy and translate these into portfolio management together with the financial divisions. In addition, we manage major strategic projects at Group level or at the interface of several Group companies and advise the individual companies on overarching strategic issues.

Digital Excellence

What we do:
Digital transformation, Retail 4.0, new e-commerce business models: We advise the group companies on all the issues arising with regard to online retailing within the Group. At the same time we analyse the market and the competition in e-commerce in order to derive new strategies for the Otto Group and promote innovation.

This is your opportunity:
Help shape the digital change with us. Together with agile teams, help develop mobile applications and use the latest tools in the online marketing. We want your expertise when it comes to continuously improving the user experience of online shops or to make the data pools of the group usable with AI.

What we do:
Whether in local, national or international business – legal issues crop up everywhere. We negotiate with business partners, draw up contracts, represent the Otto Group in dealings with public authorities, courts and support transactions such as company acquisitions and disposals, spin-offs and cooperation agreements.

This is your opportunity:
Show us what you can do: in data protection law, corporate law, labour law, antitrust law, contract Law or in patent and trademark law. In compliance management you ensure that all Otto Group employees adhere to laws and guidelines both internally and in dealings with external business partners. In the real estate areas you will prove your skills in location management or real estate law.

Group Security

What we do:
We support correct, responsible and fair conduct in order to look to the future with confidence The protection of employees and the security of corporate values and business activities is the core task of Group Security. To this end, we advise the Executive Board and the companies of the Otto Group on all security-related issues, such as information security and operational safety, conduct investigations in the event of compliance violations and develop prevention programmes against fraud and corruption.
