Our heritage: the future

With a strong heritage as a family business and deeply rooted values, the Otto Group views the future with confidence. Over the past 75 years, the company has evolved into a globally active digital retail and services group with around 36,300 employees.

As the largest online retailer of European origin, the Otto Group is harnessing its strength, market significance and values to shape the future of digital retail and services. With the strength of a family-run company, the Otto Group thinks and acts with a generational perspective. In doing so, the company proves that value-oriented action and economic success go hand in hand. Environmental protection has been another corporate goal since 1986. We take on ecological, social and digital responsibility – and will continue to do so.
