Compliance means standing tall

For the Otto Group, compliance is at once both a responsibility and a result. It is a responsibility in the sense that we educate employees, take preventive measures and investigate possible violations. It is a result because compliance is an expression of our attitude: behaving responsibly, treating one another with respect, and operating fairly and sustainably.

These values are part of our corporate culture, the culture we live and create every day. Compliance is based primarily on our values and our relationships with one another. We are continually working to incorporate this attitude into our daily routines.

Our key compliance topics

Anti-corruption, corporate responsibility, data protection, information security and antitrust law – these are the five key compliance topics that are particularly important throughout the Group. Our attitude to these and all other compliance topics is clear: acting responsibly always means following the rules. We therefore analyze and review our processes continuously and integrate new compliance risks into our Compliance Management System.
