Otto Group honours the victims of the Paris attacks

The Otto Group Supervisory Board and Executive Board have written to our French colleagues to express their grief and solidarity. On the Otto Group campus in Hamburg and in the Group companies worldwide, employees held a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks, and their families.

The brutal and cowardly terrorist crime in Paris has also deeply shocked the employees of the Otto Group. The Otto Group Supervisory and Executive Boards have expressed their sympathy and solidarity to our French colleagues in the 3SI Group.

The communiqué sent by Dr Michael Otto, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Hans-Otto Schrader, Chairman of the Executive Board, reads as follows: “Our thoughts and our hearts are with the many utterly innocent victims of these inhumane acts, and their families. We share the grief of our French colleagues and of the entire French nation. Moreover, we reaffirm our commitment to the fundamental principles of all freedom-loving people – clear commitments established by the French Revolution, which we are now called on to defend together: Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité.”
