With Bonprix CEO Dr Marcus Ackermann’s move to the Otto Group Executive Board as of 01 January 2017, the international fashion company will have a reshaped executive management team. Bonprix’s own Markus Fuchshofen and OTTO’s Dr Richard Gottwald will join the current Executive Directors Rien Jansen and Dr Kai Heck on the Bonprix Executive Board.
Markus Fuchshofen is to take up his new position on 01 July and will hold responsibility for E-Commerce Marketing, Media Production, Germany Sales, the Bonprix France Group, and the Branding and Advertising Division. Since launching his career in 1994 at Bonprix he has held range of different posts, and in particular has driven the retailer’s online transformation to become today’s internationally successful fashion brand, with its Web shops serving no less than 29 different country markets. Markus Fuchshofen is currently Vice President E-Commerce and Media Production, and is already a member of the Bonprix Extended Executive Board.
As of 01 October Dr Richard Gottwald will complete the Bonprix Executive Board. He has been with the Otto Group since 1989 and during his career with the Group has already spent time working at Bonprix. Dr Gottwald currently heads Customer and Format Management at OTTO. He will lead Bonprix’s foreign business activities (the Poland Group, Venus USA, the Italy Group, Turkey, Russia, and New Markets), alongside his existing responsibilities for the E-Commerce Division Customer Process and Information Management, Human Resources, and Corporate Communications.
Within the four-man executive management team, Rien Jansen, Executive Board Member since 2010, will continue to hold responsibility for Purchasing and will add OTC Retail to his portfolio. Dr Kai Heck, on the Executive Board since 2008, will remain Executive Director with responsibility for the Finance, IT and Service Divisions.
