Alexander Peters joins the management team of Hermes Fulfilment as CTO

Alexander Peters, Managing Director of the Manufactum Group, will become Chief Technology Officer of Hermes Fulfilment effective October 1st. In this role, he will significantly shape the digital strategy of Hermes Fulfilment and strengthen the management team alongside Kevin Kufs, Eva Witte, and Roy Smolders. Alexander Peters brings extensive experience in leading tech initiatives and will drive forward the IT infrastructure and digital transformation processes of the corporate group.

Alexander Peters brings many years of experience in IT and digital strategy across various Otto Group companies. Among other roles, he shaped the Group's technological direction for many years as Group Vice President IT and positioned IT as a strategic service provider. His expertise encompasses leading large, agile IT organizations and ensuring excellent customer experience, as well as scaling artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation solutions. As a member of manufactum's executive management, he has spent the past several years in a co-leadership role developing a deep understanding of customer-centric products that inspire and create lasting enthusiasm.

Starting October 1, Alexander Peters will take on strategic and operational responsibility for the entire IT and digital architecture in his new role as CTO at Hermes Fulfilment, further strengthening the customer experience. In doing so, he will play a key role in driving forward the Otto Group's vision of an intelligently connected, digitalized logistics operation in which people, AI, and robotics work seamlessly together to increase efficiency, resilience, and service quality. Alexander Peters will work closely with Serkan Katilmis, CIO and Managing Director of Hermes Fulfilment Tech Solution, who will report to him.
