Otto.de is one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Europe. Our teams are working in a fullstack responsibility (you build it, you run it) in a crossfunctional setup (Product, Tech, People&Processes).
In Browse and Search the teams have full product ownership and are responsible end to end to deliver the desired outcomes defined in our business strategy. We strive to build the best e-commerce Search in the German speaking market. All decisions about what’s next and how to achieve it are made inside the team. That includes decisions about collaboration and innovation.
Was Dich erwartet:
As a team lead you are responsible for all Devops specialists in up to 3 teams.
You are the disciplinary supervisor, and your core responsibility is to guide, motivate, and grow your people.
Beyond that you collaboratively define the overall team strategy and provide guardrails so the team can deliver.
You guide and support the team in defining their OKRs which are closely connected to the defined strategy.
You help the team making the right technical decisions and support them in taking full product ownership in terms of technology, cost, features and ops.
You are in constant exchange with the department leads to inform each other and align progress and guardrails for the entire department.
While you will not work on technical tasks you can dive into technical topics with the team whenever they need it.

Was Du mitbringen solltest:
First experience in a leadership-role with people management responsibility is essential.
You prefer working in an agile environment.
You know about the OKR Framework and strive to define goals based on outcomes over output.
You know what it takes to operate in the cloud (preferably AWS) and what "you build it, you run it" means.
Driving initiatives and finding solutions that help your team and your department is what motivates you beyond your people management responsibility.
