We are Team Search and ensure that our 8 million customers get the best search results. To meet this demand, we use different ranking models to find the best products for our customers' searches. Was Dich erwartet:

• Design and develop high performance data pipelines and APIs
• Build and maintain automated, scalable and distributed systems in our cloud infrastructure
• Be a quality advocate in the team and set a good example by writing clean, readable and maintainable code
• Be part of a cross-functional team making use of Agile Methodologies such as Kanban, Pair Programming, and Test-Driven Development

Was Du mitbringen solltest:

Must-have:

• Advanced Java 11/17 knowledge and hands-on experience with streaming technology
• Expertise in development and operation of data processing and transformation in a complex decentralized stream based infrastructure
• Expert know-how in cloud environments and containerization (e.g. AWS, Docker)
• DevOps skills (Java, Bash, Git, Docker, CI/CD)
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (e. g. AWS CloudFormation, Terraform)
• A strong desire to pair-program

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in working with large amounts of data with Kafka
• Experience in working with bytes and buffers. You know your JVM
• Know-how in search technologies in e-commerce
