The Tech Strategy & Governance team drives the overarching technology strategy of the otto group, as well as decision-making processes regarding technology domains. We develop the strategic direction and main initiatives, define standards/tech stacks, and drive key cross-functional projects and overarching tech programs across the group. One of our key initiatives is the development of a future-proof eCommerce tech stack for Otto Group companies.

Was Dich erwartet:

• You dig into the needs & wants of our customers (Otto Group companies) for our eCommerce stack
• You are the customers’ advocate constantly delivering value with a state-of-the-art eCommerce solution
• You determine strategy and problems behind new developments
• You are responsible for gathering, managing and formulating requirements for the eCommerce stack, connecting our customers with different development teams from various service providers
• You manage those service providers also facilitating plannings and reviews
• You collaborate with the development teams and stakeholders to solve problems, build features, and implement new processes. While it is a team effort, PMs own scoping the problem and reaching a successful outcome on time

Was Du mitbringen solltest:

Must have:

• You have at least several years of experience as a product manager, with a degree in computer science, information science, economics, e-business, analytics, or similar
• You have product management experience in digital business models or state-of-the-art eCommerce software
• With your strong stakeholder management and communication skills, you can mediate and align between service providers, tech teams, and management
• You have led projects and products with various heterogenous stakeholders and navigated successfully through complex organizational setups
• You have relevant experience in writing requirements in form of user stories (user centered design)
• You have excellent verbal and writing skills in English and solid skills in German

Nice to have:

• Your leverage and iterate modern tools and ways of working (like Jira, Confluence, design analysis, etc.)
