We are team SEARCH and ensure that our 8 million customers get the best search results. To achieve this, we use diverse ranking models to find the best products in the search of our customers. To find these products among millions of products is a great challenge for which we need your expertise!

Was Dich erwartet:
You are responsible to guide us through the next 'black friday week', to have the best response time, stability and also correct ranking in the search results in an ecommerce search in Germany.
Be creative in finding solutions for problems of information retrieval in the domain of e-commerce.
Become part of our crossfunctional team - we work with agile methodologies: kanban, pair programming and test-driven development.

Was Du mitbringen solltest:
Strong experience in building high throughput and large scale search systems with Solr/Elasticsearch/Lucene.
Production experience in solving recall and precision problems and monitor search quality in the context of an e-commerce search.
Strong Java Knowledge.
Familiar with a CI/CD and the AWS-Stack.
Willing to contribute to the open source community.
Desire to work in pair programming.
Solid english skills.
Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision-making.
MVP mindset, continuous improvements of products and interal processes.
Interested in new developments by attending meetups and conferences.
