Full Stack Engineer | Java, GCP | Logistics (f/m/d)

Our 14-member Beluga logistics team ensures that furniture and other bulky goods offered on the OTTO marketplace are delivered to the desired location and assembled on request, for example. On the way to the OTTO platform, we are redefining the IT-technical handling of forwarded goods in a greenfield approach. As OTTO is the largest online furniture retailer on the german market, we have plenty of challenges to overcome and are therefore looking for reinforcement for our cross-functional team. • You support the entire product development lifecycle.
• You design and develop high-quality software in pairs according to TDD and bring your changes live on a daily basis through the use of continuous delivery technologies.

Was Du mitbringen solltest:

Must-have:

• Good practical experience in Java technologies and experience with Spring Boot.
• You feel comfortable in the cloud environment. Great!
• Infrastructure as Code, Pair Programming, Clean Code and Event Driven Design are your passion.
• You know Scrum and Kanban not only from the textbook - you bring a distinct agile mindset.
• Your language level: German A2 (basic knowledge), English B2 (independent use of language).

Nice-to-have:

• You have experience in GCP or AWS.
• You are familiar with KAFKA.
