Although Otto Group has long since expanded its operations to include practically all available distribution channels, the mail-order business and its fundamentals are still the main characteristic of our business.

In this business, the only way to be permanently successful is to build and continuously reinforce a bridge of trust between retailer and customer. It was this insight that informed Otto’s corporate vision from the very beginning, when the company was primarily engaged in mail-order sales. Today, this vision is being reinvigorated by the internationally active trading, financing and service companies of Otto Group. The high standards of Otto Group are reflected in the comprehensive pre-sales and after-sales services we offer. To this day, Otto Group has never believed in the strategy of discount wars of the kind that one sees today in the market. All our companies are united in the conviction that Otto Group stands for excellent prices combined with first-class service.
