CR Board

Corporate responsibility (CR) at the Otto Group is top priority. This is why it is an issue for senior management, with the Executive Board carrying full responsibility. Headed by CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of the Otto Group, Hans-Otto Schrader, the CR Board is the key decision-making body.

The CR Board provides a common reference for the strategic alignment of corporate responsibility within the Otto Group, ensuring that all defined goals have been quickly and effectively integrated into the Group's business units.

In putting these goals into practise, the CR Board works closely with specialist working groups. These prepare the content of the Board's decisions and organise the implementation of agreed measures in Group companies.

The general managers at the Group companies, e.g. OTTO, Hermes, bonprix and SportScheck are then responsible for implementing CR goals and activities in their own companies. Support is provided by CR coordinators who coordinate all CR-relevant activities in their companies, gather all relevant key data and maintain constant contact with the Group's corporate responsibility division.

The latter monitors all group-wide corporate responsibility activities, providing measuring tools to plan and manage, developing recommendations for the CR board and consulting the individual Group companies in the implementation of their CR strategy.
