Hermes-Otto International emerged as a separate company from the purchasing organization founded by the Otto Group in 1966. Its main task was originally to purchase goods exclusively for Otto Group companies in the world’s major markets.
Following the reorganization of the company in 2008, Hermes-Otto International was opened to third-party B2B customers serving as a worldwide procurement and services partner.
With 1,500 employees and 21 offices in all key sourcing markets, Hermes-Otto International has built up a network of top-quality suppliers in 50 years of business. H-OI sources products primarily from the textiles, accessories, lingerie, shoes and home living segments. The package is completed by further innovative services such as Quality and Audit Services as well as Supply Chain Services.
