Following the principle “The good things in life still exist”, Manufactum offers basic commodities, furnishings, clothing and foodstuffs produced in line with traditional standards.

The Otto Group has been a partner in the company since 1998, becoming sole partner at the beginning of 2008. Manufactum conducts distance-selling operations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK. In addition, there are seven Manufactum department stores in Germany, five of which also house the food and stone bakery undertaking ‘brot&butter’. Manufactum also owns the furniture and furnishings company Magazin that sells through its three stores and its own catalogue.
